How SignalShop works.
A QR-pairing layer that converts any broadcast — streaming, FAST, or traditional TV — into a measurable commerce channel. One scan links a viewer's phone to the live signal stream.
Broadcaster assigns a signal
Each channel and host is assigned a unique signal ID tied to a live commerce campaign in the broadcast console.
Phone pairs via QR
The TV displays an on-screen QR code. The viewer scans it with any phone camera to link their device to the broadcast session.
Signal becomes a campaign
The active signal ID resolves to a live commerce campaign — product, offer, coupon, wallet pass, and sponsor brand.
Commerce activates instantly
The product page hydrates on the paired phone with image, price, urgency, and one-tap checkout — synced to whatever is on screen.
Attribution flows back
Every pairing, view, cart, purchase, and wallet save is reported to the broadcaster console in real time.
Privacy by design
Sessions are ephemeral and scoped to the paired device. No microphone access is requested and no ambient data is recorded.
Prototype note
Pairing happens through an on-screen QR code shown on the TV (and in the companion panel). Once a phone scans it, the session is wired to a realtime channel and every signal the broadcaster fires is pushed to the paired device in under a second.
Why broadcasters love it
- • Turn passive viewing into measurable transactions.
- • Per-host, per-product, per-second attribution.
- • One-scan pairing — no app install, works on any phone camera.
- • Works on streaming, FAST, OTA, and venue displays.
